Ann is a Development Communications Specialist, working at the  intersection of research, capacity strengthening and development. At the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), she leads communications for multi-country initiatives across Africa. Her work focuses on translating complex evidence into compelling  narratives that influence policy, strengthen institutions, and elevate  African scholarship globally. Ann has extensive experience developing and implementing communications strategies for  large-scale research programs, capacity-strengthening initiatives, and knowledge translation  platforms across the continent. She works closely with researchers, policymakers, and  partners to enhance the visibility, uptake, and impact of African-led research. With a background in development communications and leadership training, Ann is passionate about bridging research, policy, and practice. She brings to the World Health Summit Regional Meeting a strong commitment to amplifying African voices in global health dialogue.
