Winnie Wangari Kibiru is a MedTech innovation leader and systems thinker shaping Africa’s homegrown medical device ecosystem. She serves as MedTech Lead at Villgro Africa and Vice Chair of the Transforming African MedTech Conference (TAMC). With a background in Mechanical Engineering, she works at the intersection of product development, regulatory systems, investment strategy, and ecosystem building, supporting startups across East Africa to scale safe, market-ready medical technologies. She has worked closely with startups across East Africa in areas including neonatal devices, diagnostics, digital health platforms, assistive technologies, and other healthcare innovation systems
