Dr Mary Bitta is an implementation scientist at Aga Khan University’s Brain and Mind  Institute. Her work focuses on stigma and the use of digital approaches to reduce the  mental and brain health treatment gap. Her research sits at the intersection of  implementation science, global mental health, and stigma reduction, with a focus on  scalable system-level solutions. She collaborates with colleagues at Harvard Medical  School at the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine, University of Oxford at the  Department Psychiatry and York University in Toronto Canada at the Faculty of Liberal Arts and is particularly interested in embedding lived experience within research and  implementation processes.
