Dr Micah Matiang’i  is currently  the Director of Online Blended Learning (OBL) and a senior lecturer in the school of medical sciences  at the Amref International University. Prior to the current position he has been a head of department and Dean school  of medical sciences. He  has interest in Human Resource for Health (HRH) development and Health Systems Strengthening (HSS). Micah has over 24 years  in training health workers .  In health development he  has special interest in Maternal and Child Health (MCH), disruptive technologies  and  communicable diseases.  Micah has a  BscN background with a masters and PhD in Public Health.  Micah is also a Commonwealth  Scholars  alumnus.
